I loved this Temecula winery engagement session.. even though it was a bajillion degrees outside, June and Marcus were troopers as we made our way around the Avensole Winery.   

I asked June and Marcus to share a little bit about themselves and their love story.. 

June and Marcus' Engagement Story

How did Marcus propose? We were in Kauai at one year of dating. Marcus ( I knew after the fact of course) had planned a horseback riding on the day we arrived. ( He is not one to plan activities lol) We rode to the top of the hill, stunning, beautiful view, then I saw a picnic set up ( I still didn't know what was going on) until I saw a guy with professional camera started snapping photos of us. I turned to Marcus and saw the look on his face then I realized it's happening! He planned all these within one week. He did great!!

How Long Have You Been Engaged?: This September ( wedding )will be 2 years

Tell Us 3 Things You Love About Each Other: 

June: Marcus is such a hard working person. He loves to protect. He is funny. 
Marcus: June is looking out for me. June is easy going. Everyone loves her. June doesn't stay upset. She doesn't hold grudges

Tell Us About Your Style: We tried to do our wedding theme colors. Marcus already has some items in his closet, and I just coordinate off of his outfits. I ordered my skirt from Amazon!
The second outfit was thought of within one day because we didn't know we were supposed to have 2 outfits. With our corky personalities we did custom T shirts. I love what we came up with!

How Were You Feeling About About Your Engagement Session: We were not very anxious. The day of we were very excited but had to get T-shirts done so there was also no time to be anxious.
I thought we were gonna be late because of the traffic ( I hate being late) 
We felt good after but honestly it was soo hot that day we were exhausted after!
We had a great time during the shoot. We enjoyed each other and we tried to make it fun. Carrie and Sam, her husband, were awesome!

Do You Have Any Advice You Could Give To Future Couples For Their Engagement Session? Enjoy each other and the rest is naturals!!

I can't wait to photograph June and Marcus' wedding later this year at the Christmas House Inn and Gardens. Until then, enjoy the slideshow...
