Colorful Claremont Village Engagement Session

Ellie and Vince's Colorful Claremont Village Engagement Session | Claremont, CA

I had the pleasure of getting to know Ellie and Vince during their Claremont Village engagement session last week.. We started out at Pomona College to recreate a very special photo from Vince's dad's wedding. The campus was lovely with its majestic redwood trees in front of the Bridges Autditorium. From there, we made our way to the photogenic Claremont village, specifically colorful The Grove mural..

How did you two meet?

We met in high school! In 2006 Vince was "accidentally" placed in the theater arts class. Our first conversation was actually over Myspace, ha! We talked for awhile, even went to Vince's senior prom together, but didn't continue since Vince was going to college and I was still in high school. We ended up going to the same university and reconnecting four years later and have been dating ever since.

How did Vince propose?

On a vacation to Italy for Vince's 30th birthday, we scheduled a day to visit Vatican City. After touring the museums, Sistine Chapel, and awe-inspiring St. Peter's Basilica, we took advantage of the cooler weather and smaller crowds and climbed to the cupola (very top) of St. Peter's Basilica. After approximately 1,482,102 stairs, we reached the top and were greeted by breathtaking views of St. Peter's Square and all of Rome. With this incredible view behind us, Vince got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
